Legend Review

Legend by Marie Lu

The Legend series, is amazing. I know that sounds loathing or completely over-hyped, but dang, it's a good book. But don't worry, I'm not here to just gush over my favorite book series, I have a few critiques I'd like to get across. To start off, the Legend series is about two characters, June and Day. Day is a street legend(#SelfReference) who has a special talent for stealing and making fools of the local street police, and June is a young prodigy (#OverSelfReferencing) who has gone to academy early, and trains every day to serve her government, the 'benevolent' Republic of America (There's a whole apocalypse subplot behind that name I won't spoil anything.) Through fate, June and Day meet on the streets of L.A., and they end up falling for each other. Some crazy stuff happens, and long story short Day basically becomes the next 1D(Back when 1D was cool) and June might as well be a famous fan girl. Overall 7.8/10 for Legend, the only problems I had with this book was that the plot got a little predictable at times. Still, I definitely think it's worth picking this book up.
